About Top Dog
A head-to-head fantasy football league that has been running for years, and the record to prove it.
One opponent at a time
Most fantasy football is played against everybody at once — a rank, a percentile, an average. Top Dog is not that. Each Gameweek you are drawn against one named manager, and the only question that matters is whether you beat them.
That changes how the game is played. The highest-scoring captain is not always the right captain. A differential that would be reckless against the field can be exactly correct against one opponent who does not own it.
↑ Back to topThe record
Top Dog runs as 2 divisions — Premier with 20 and Championship with 15 — each contesting its own head-to-head season, 35 managers in all. Every Gameweek is captured as it happens: squads, transfers, captains, chips and results.
The archive itself is new: this is the first season captured this way. The league is considerably older than its record of itself.

The Gameweek is also told on film, episode by episode — the swings, the near-misses and the decisions that actually settled the ties. It lives on Top Dog TV.
