Why a fixture says AVERAGE
This division has 15 managers — an odd number — so in each Gameweek one manager has no one to play. Fantasy Premier League fills that fixture with AVERAGE, the average score across the whole game.
AVERAGE is a scoring rule, not a competitor: it has no account, no squad and no place in the table. It is why the division counts 15 managers and not 16. Which manager draws it changes from Gameweek to Gameweek.
